Raising family pets
Bernese Mountain Dogs
We have been raising Bernese Mountain dogs since 2007 when we welcomed our first, Kracker Doodle, to our home and family. Kracker blessed us with almost 10 years of love and affection. From the time we brought him home at 10 weeks old, he joined us on many adventures including camping (he loved to tent camp), kayaking, golfing, wine tours and boat rides. Where ever we went, there Kracker was.
On our farm, Kracker always kept a watchful eye on our ducklings, chicks, and enjoyed some playful time romping in the yard with our pot-bellied pig and baby lambs. He was devoted to my wife like crazy, always by her side. Currently, Xander, Ruby and Olive (Olive is from Ruby & Howie’s first litter in 2019) are providing us with unconditional love and affection on a regular basis. We laugh at their goofiness, and admire their self confidence. Xander is strong, and a faithful watchdog. Ruby is extremely intelligent, and loves to cuddle. Olive is a free spirit and enjoys spending her days outside overlooking the property. They are loyal and cheerful, and always happy to help herd our chickens and sheep back to their pens. They truly live up to being gentle giants around all creatures. Bernese Mountain dogs are a magnificent breed exuding a striking tri-color coat. They are a loyal companion, affectionate, gentle and easygoing. They are known for their large size, docile demeanor, and strength. They are a wonderful family dog.
